Saint Rita College – Manila Implements APSA’S Online Standards- Based Assessment
St. Rita College- Manila (SRCM) successfully implemented APSA’s online Standards- Based Assessment (SBA) in assessing student performance last September 15, 2020.
In line with its mission of providing life giving and innovating educational ministry committed to transforming community of learners into Christ-centered Augustinian, SRCM has partnered with APSA in assessing student achievement thru APSA’s Standards- Based Assessment (SBA) since 2006.
The SBA is the latest assessment technology that measures students’ proficiency level against the national and global standards. Results of the assessment help schools identify where students are in terms of mastery of the skills and competencies required for their level. Students’ areas of strengths and areas for improvements are also identified which consequently can provide information to help schools improve the quality of their curriculum and instruction.
This year, the online SBA was successfully conducted from preschool-Grade 10 students in English, Math, and Science through the collaborative efforts of the SRCM admin, and teachers, and with the support and cooperation of parents and students. Students of SRCM were able to take their SBA in the comfort and safety of their homes.
The leader in Standards- Based Assessment, APSA has conducted over a thousand of online tests across the country and abroad since May 2020. To find out how your school can benefit from using APSA’s SBA, visit APSA’s fb page: apsaphilippines
